Network Engineer - Fortigate
Your Tasks
As the successful applicant for this job as a Hybrid Network Engineer, you will be responsible for the engineering and the support of our global Hybrid network and FortiGate firewalls, Azure Express route and Azure Virtual WAN while experience managing on-premise switches (HP and Cisco) is an advantage. You will bring your expertise with the Windows Environment and hybrid cloud infrastructure to ensure maximum up-time and to keep the system running smoothly. You will also work with topics such as Data-Center connectivity, firewall governance and network security policies.
The ideal candidate for the job as a Network Engineer – Fortigate should have/be:
- A strong background working with Fortigate firewalls, Azure and on-premise networks
- Good knowledge of network best practices, firewall governance and overall network security
- Proven experience with hybrid cloud infrastructure/networks
- Experience working with on premise switches (HP and Cisco Meraki) is a plus
- English to a business level and German would be an advantage
