Java Architect

For one of our clients in the Zurich and/or Bern area we are looking on a permanent basis (full time or part time) for a Java Architect. You will have the opportunity to be part of a SCRUM team and be the technical lead. This job would give you the opportunity to work in an innovative and hybrid setting.

Your main job responsibilities will be:

• Create and define the architecture for the implementation of websites and services in Java/JVM
• Work with customers, identify new requirements and define viable solutions for them
• You will have to develop solutions with technologies like Java, Kotlin and JavaScript
• For some projects you will be required to use your experience in the areas of CI/CD, automated testing and container environments

To apply for this job you should have:

• Fluent German
• Several years of experience in developing web systems based on Java and JVM
• Experience in working with DevOps, container solutions and continuous integration would be an advantage
• Knowledge of web technologies ( HTTP, REST, HTML5, JavaScript & CO)
• Knowledge of AEM is a plus
