SQL Server Database Administrator
We are currently searching for SQL Server Database Administrator on permanent basis for one of our clients in technology consulting, working in a hybrid set-up.
As a part of the team, you will be the go-to-consultant for clients across different industries to advise and support them on their SQL Server database projects.

As a part of the team, you will be the go-to-consultant for clients across different industries to advise and support them on their SQL Server database projects.
Your main tasks will be:
- Communicate effectively with both the technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Design, implement, and manage database structures, ensuring that databases are maintained and optimized for performance and scalability.
- Analyze and improve the performance of SQL Server databases
- Identify and resolve bottlenecks ensuring queries and processes run efficiently.
- Set up and manage backup processes and disaster recovery plans.
- Provide ongoing support to resolve issues related to the SQL Server, including diagnosing problems, applying patches, and updating systems.
- Assist in migrating data from other systems or different databases into SQL Server and integrate SQL Server with other systems and applications.
To enjoy this job, you should have/be:
- Degree or higher education in Computer Science or a related field.
- In-depth knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server and experience in database administration.
- Proficiency in T-SQL (Transact-SQL).
- Experience with SQL Server SSIS and SQL Server SSAS.
- Knowledge HA/DR solutions such as Always On.
- Proficiency in PowerShell for automating database tasks.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
- Fluent in German (C1+) is a must and proficient in English.
