Java Developer

For our client in the consulting sector we are looking for a fluent French speaking Java developer to join their team. We have the capacity to consider both junior and senior candidates for this position in the Lausanne/Geneva area.

In this Java Developer job you will be working as part of an experienced team delivering projects for enterprise sized clients. You will be working on Opensource projects within the Java field, with a focus on either middleware and cloud integrations or front end projects with the likes of Angular.

To apply for this Java Developer job you should have:

• Previous commercial experience working as a Java Developer
• Fluent French and English language skills (German or Italian is an advantage but not required)
• Strong skills in Java Development
• Knowledge of technologies like; Spring, Hibernate, Angular, Maven, Jenkins, Docker, AWS (or other cloud solutions), Kafka, Openshift, MQ and Red Hat. (you do not need to have strong skills in all of these technologies)
• Knowledge and desire to work on modern style projects in a Scrum/Agile way of working.
• Knowledge of DEVOPS is especially beneficial
• The ability and willingness to be client facing and travel to client sites if required (within Switzerland only).
