Java Analyst / Developer

For our financial services client in Luzern we are looking for an experienced Java Analyst / Developer.

In this classic "Schnittstelle" position, you will be bridging the business and technology gap and performing a wide range of tasks including:

• Developing the Java Software Application further to increase the functionality
• Taking care of all aspects from frontend to backend, including working with Databases, Middleware, etc, but less frontend
• Providing L3 Support for the business
• Speaking with the business about their needs and putting together suggestions/documentation
• Application Management

As you can see this Java Analyst/Developer job is a little bit of a "Swiss Army Knife" or "die eierlegende Wollmilchsau"... so expect your day to day to be quite varied and we are looking for someone who is mainly a Java Developer but who can be a lot broader.

To apply for this job you should have:

• Fluent German (at least C1 level), including the ability to write documentation in German
• Strong Java Development experience
• Experience being business facing
• Able to take responsibility and perform different functions
• Financial services experience is an advantage but not a must
• Willingness to be 3 days per week onsite in Luzern, with 2 days work from home
