We are currently recruiting for one of our clients in Switzerland for a Quant Analyst and Developer.
As a successful applicant for the job as a Quant Analyst and Developer, you will be responsible for analysing new potential opportunities for improving the Asset and Investment portfolio including looking for areas which can benefit from automation from a system perspective. This will involve working with the business and then working independently or as part of a small team to develop the solutions around the technology stack that includes Database and Application development with the likes of SQL Server and C# / .Net as well as Bloomberg and other 3rd party system interfaces. You will also be expected to solve complex cases in the course of support for the business.
For the job as a Quant Analyst and Developer you need to have:
- High academic background in math, science, engineering, computer science or business/economics. PhD preferred but not essential.
- Database and application development knowledge (MS SQL Server and .NET.)
- Experience working in a Quant position, within financial services, with highly mathematical models.
- Fluent German and English language skills
