Position Overview:
We are seeking a talented and experienced French-speaking Security Operations Center (SOC) Manager to join a dynamic team. The successful candidate will lead and oversee the daily operations of a SOC and the team, ensuring the highest level of security monitoring and incident response for our clients.
Responsibilities:
Leadership and Team Management:
- Provide strategic direction and leadership to the SOC team (6-8 members).
- Foster a collaborative and proactive environment within the team.
- Recruit, train, and mentor SOC analysts to enhance their skills and capabilities.
- Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback.
- Develop and implement incident response playbooks and procedures.
- Lead and coordinate responses to security incidents, ensuring timely resolution.
- Conduct post-incident reviews and implement improvements to enhance future responses.
Monitoring and Analysis:
- Oversee the continuous monitoring of security alerts and events.
- Analyze security data to identify and respond to potential threats.
- Stay informed about the latest cybersecurity trends and threats.
Collaboration:
- Work closely with other departments, such as IT, risk management, and compliance, to ensure a comprehensive approach to security.
- Collaborate with external stakeholders, including clients and third-party security partners.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field.
- Proven experience (5+ years) in a SOC management role.
- Fluent in French and English, with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- In-depth knowledge of cybersecurity principles, practices, and technologies.
- Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or equivalent.
Skills and Competencies:
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Expertise in incident response and crisis management.
- Proficient in the use of security information and event management (SIEM) tools.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to communicate complex security concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
