Agile QA Engineer – Payments (Fiserv) 100%

As a leading provider of payment and financial technology solutions, our client delivers and supports platforms built on the Fiserv ecosystem. To strengthen quality assurance across payment processing and card issuance workstreams, we are seeking an experienced Agile QA Engineer to join a cross-functional Agile team.

Role Overview

The Agile QA Engineer will work on test design, execution and coordination across payment and card-related modules running on Fiserv platforms, working closely with developers, business analysts and external technology partners.

Responsibilities

• Drive QA activities within an agile Scrum team covering payment processing, card issuance or core banking modules

• Design, document and execute test cases for features running on Fiserv platforms (e.g. issuer processing, core banking, payment hub)

• Plan and run User Acceptance Testing cycles with business stakeholders and external partners

• Maintain test data, test environments and regression test suites

• Integrate testing into CI/CD pipelines and support continuous delivery

• Identify, log and track defects through to resolution, working with development and vendor teams

• Contribute QA estimates, risk input and test concepts during sprint and release planning

Required Skills & Experience

• Degree in computer science or related field, with professional experience in software quality assurance

• Five or more years of experience as a QA or Test Engineer, ideally in payments or financial services

• Hands-on experience testing on Fiserv platforms or products (e.g. DNA, Premier, Signature, or Fiserv card/issuer processing systems)

• Strong testing expertise: test design, execution, test management and regression testing

• Testing certification such as ISTQB Advanced Level or Agile Tester is an advantage

• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, comfortable working with external partners

• Highly self-organized with strong planning, prioritization and analytical skills

• Fluent in English and German - Must have
