Responsibilities:

• Consulting and Design:

  • Provide expert consultation on cloud platform infrastructure, including the design and engineering of landing zones on AWS.
  • Develop and implement multi-tenant cost allocation strategies, IAM policies, and networking solutions.

• Infrastructure as Code (IaC) Automation:

  • Utilize Terraform to design, engineer, and implement automation for cloud platform infrastructure.
  • Ensure the efficient operation and optimization of the existing IaC solution.

• Security and Compliance:

  • Advise and support teams on data storage, data protection, and encryption, including Data at Rest, Data in Motion, and Data in Use.
  • Implement automated security measures, as well as manage update and patch releases.

• Monitoring and Optimization:

  • Monitor and optimize existing cloud platform infrastructure to enhance performance and efficiency.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify areas for improvement and implement necessary changes.

Qualifications:

• University degree in Logic, Mathematics, Computer Science, Engineering, Physics, Astronomy, Chemistry, Biology, Earth Sciences or similar (Credit: Diploma).
• AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Professional or equivalent certification.
• Language proficiency: German C1 + English B2

Skills and Competencies:

• Experience in Automation with Terraform through Infrastructure as Code.
• Experience in Consulting, Engineering/Design, Construction, and Operation of Cloud Platform Infrastructures on AWS
• Significant experience in CI/CD
• Experience in Data at Rest, Data in Motion, Data in Use, and Confidential Computing
