ApplyWe are currently looking for Talend Engineer for one of our clients in retail. As a part of the IT team, you will ensure data moves efficiently and accurately between different systems within the organization.
Your main tasks will be:
- Data integration and data transformation.
- Optimize existing ETL jobs for performance, scalability, and reliability.
- Identify bottlenecks and implement solutions to improve ETL process efficiency.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and automation in data integration workflows.
- Analysing data using the ELK stack to gather information to help with monitoring, troubleshooting, and optimizing ETL processes.
- Create and maintain up-to-date technical documentation for ETL processes and ensure all is accessible to relevant team members.
- Diagnose and resolve complex data integration issues and ETL job failures.
- Perform root cause analysis and implement preventive measures to avoid recurrence of issues.
- Provide level 3 support to operational teams.
- Service level monitoring- tracking and managing the performance and availability of data integration services, error, and logging monitoring.
- Define, implement, and enforce data quality best practices to maintain high standards of data accuracy, completeness, and consistency.
- Managing and maintaining Control-M and Axway platforms to ensure they perform optimally, securely, and reliably.
To enjoy this role, you should have/be:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field.
- Experience in ETL development with focus on Talend.
- Experience in data integration.
- Experience with ITIL 4F, MS/ Linux system, Powershell, Java, Git, Azure DevOps, ServiceNow or similar tool.
- Excellent problem-solving, communication and collaboration skills.
- Fluent in French and English.
