Devops Specialist
Field of expertise: Devops | Permanent employmentFor our Zurich based financial services client we are looking for a DevOps Specialist to join their team.
As the successful applicant for this Devops Specialist job you would be responsible for working within a team where you would be looking at both the technical and process elements needed to understand how the devops strategy should be defined and adopted across the organisation. This would include defining the toolchain and working closely with the software development teams to improve their processes to include modern CI and CD practices.
To apply for this DevOps Specialist position you should have:
- At least 3 years experience of working in a DevOps capacity
- The ability to be business facing as well as technical communicate ideas to various stakeholders and influence the decision process.
- Strong Linux skills
- Bash scripting
- Some Development experience (ideally Java or Python)
- Knowledge of CI/CD such as Jenkins
- Knowledge of technologies such as Containers, Docker, Kubernetes, Ansible and others
- Being based in Switzerland and available to start within a month is a significant advantage
