DevOps Architect from a Java background

We are currently recruiting a Devops Architect for our client’s office in Bern or the Zurich area. In this position, due to the Covid-19, it will be expected for you to work from home until the situation normalizes again. Then a mix of home office / onsite time in Bern or Zurich will be expected

The successful applicant for the job as a Devops Architect you will be part of the full development lifecycle. You will be responsible to communicate with the customers, understand their needs and be able to build up an automated deployment, as well as being part of the development team delivering the solution. You will also be responsible for coaching and supporting the Presales activities. Also you will collaborate with different departments across the business to support their continuous improvement around coding, design and development.

The successful applicant for the job as a Devops Architect should bring:

• Broad knowledge of modern technologies around the Java/J2EE stack
• Strong Java Architecture and Development background
• Experience in Devops Architecture environment
• Excellent communication skills in German C1/C2 or Native and English
• Topics like Cloud computing (AWS), modern front-end (i.e. Angular / React), DevOps (Docker and Kubernetes), Microservices, Big data, Spring boot and so on should be topics that you know about, if not an expert in all
