We are seeking an experienced IT Operations and Monitoring Manager to lead and oversee the operational team of our client’s critical IT applications.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and Develop the IT operations team, providing guidance, mentorship, and enabling a collaborative environment
- Develop and implement strategies for optimizing application performance, stability, and scalability to meet business requirements
- Oversee the deployment, configuration, and maintenance of applications, ensuring they adhere to best practices and align with the overall IT architecture
- Oversee the incident response plans, ensuring timely and effective resolution of incidents to minimize business impact
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including application owners, business units, and IT leadership
- Collaborate with the other IT team to ensure that applications align with the overall IT architecture strategy and standards and manage the IT Budget for the Operations team
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency and effectiveness in application management and incident response
- Monitor application performance, analyse trends and proactively address potential issues
- Collaborate with external vendors for IT Services and products ensuring a cost-effective delivery of services based on SLA’s
- 5+ years experience in IT operations and incident management.
- Proved leadership skills with a track record of managing and mentoring IT Teams
- Strong technical background with experience in IT Infrastructure and Critical applications,
- Experience in creating and implementing IT Policies and best practices
- Excellent knowledge of problem-solving methodology (Fishbone, 5 Whys, etc.)
- Proven ability to lead and guide teams through complex incidents and operational challenges
- Significant experience in managing external vendors, working with the purchasing department to negotiate contracts
- Proven experience in crisis management - Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Proficient both in French and English
