Middleware Engineer

Field of expertise: Mechanical/Electrical Engineer | in Bern | Permanent employment

For our client in Bern we are looking for an experienced Middleware Engineer to join their team developing new application solutions.

Within this job you will be responsible for working on both a projects and operations basis to deliver an excellent middleware environment based on Red Hat Linux, Websphere, MQ, Weblogic and other technologies. It will be a client facing position and will involve analysis, development, support and communicating with a lot of other different departments.

To apply for this challenging Middleware Engineer job you should have:

  • Very strong knowledge of Linux and Unix (especially Red Hat)
  • Good knowledge of Weblogic, Websphere or MQ
  • Scripting knowledge
  • The business language for this position is German so you should have fluent German language skills (or at least a strong B2)
