Python Software Development Team Leader

Field of expertise: Development Manager / Team Lead | in Remote/Switzerland | Contract employment

For our Tech Client we're looking for an experienced Python Software Development Team Leader to lead a remote distributed team of experienced Python Developers.

In this challenging and exciting job, you will be responsible for working with the Product Owners to understand the development needs of a variety of global customers before managing the development team in the delivery of these new features. You should be comfortable going into deep technical discussions around design patterns and Python development topics, being overall responsible for the platform architecture. As well as this you will be facing off to senior stakeholders in a variety of international markets.

To apply for this Python Software Development Team Leader job you should have:

  • Experience in leading/managing a distributed development team
  • Very strong knowledge of Python from a Development and Architectural point of view
  • C++ and Database knowledge is a plus
This job can be performed remotely, however the person must live in Switzerland and have a valid work permit. Initially this would be a 6 month contract position, the aim would be to convert this position into a permanent position if all goes well following that, so you must be open to the possibility of permanent employment if the first 6 months goes well.
