Linux engineer

We're looking for a skilled Linux/Devops Engineer to ensure migration from RHEL7 to RHEL8. This role requires expertise in Linux, DevOps, and incident troubleshooting.

Project Details:

• 1 year contract with possibility of extension

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop solutions using bash and GNU-tools.
• Maintain high system performance and availability.
• Manage system configurations, patches, and upgrades.
• Document incidents and best practices.
• Provide 24/7 on-call support.
• Implement and maintain Ansible playbooks and OpenShift environments.
• Automate infrastructure tasks.

Qualifications:

• 7+ years of experience with RHEL and system migrations.
• Strong skills in Ansible, Jenkins, Git, and bash scripting.
• Familiarity with monitoring tools like Nagios or Icinga.
• Experience in financial, banking or trading sector environment.
• Languages: English (mandatory), German (nice to have)
