Intune System Engineer

Our client is seeking a skilled Intune System Engineer to join their IT Windows & Workplace Engineering team. The ideal candidate will take ownership of Microsoft Intune administration, device lifecycle management, security compliance, and modern workplace automation. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys building smooth, secure, and scalable device experiences across a hybrid or cloud-first environment.

Key Responsibilities

Intune & Endpoint Management

• Administer, configure, and optimize Microsoft Intune and Endpoint Manager environments.
• Develop and maintain Device Configuration Profiles, Compliance Policies, Conditional Access, and Application Deployment.
• Manage Windows Autopilot, including provisioning, deployment, and troubleshooting.
• Oversee lifecycle management for Windows, iOS, macOS, and Android devices.

Automation & Modern Workplace

• Use PowerShell and automation tools to streamline processes and reduce manual workload.
• Improve the user experience by enhancing device onboarding, self-service capabilities, and workplace technologies.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support modern workplace initiatives.

Support & Troubleshooting

• Act as the escalation point for endpoint-related incidents and complex issues.
• Monitor system performance and proactively resolve issues before they impact the business.
• Document solutions, configurations, and best practices.

Required Qualifications

• Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Intune / Endpoint Manager.
• Solid understanding of Azure Active Directory, identity management, and Citrix.
• Proficiency in PowerShell scripting.
• Experience with Windows 10/11 management, Autopilot, and patching.
• Excellent German skills and good English
• Ability to do on-call work every 6-7 weeks - paid extra

Nice-to-Have Skills

• Experience with Defender for Endpoint.
• Familiarity with Microsoft 365 ecosystem and security components.
• Knowledge of macOS management tools (e.g., JAMF) is an advantage.
• Experience with SCCM in co-management scenarios.
• Relevant certifications (e.g., MS-102, MD-102, AZ-104).
